The Skippack Fire Company operates out of one station, which provides primary fire and rescue protection to the residents and businesses of Skippack Township and those visiting and traveling through town.

Faith Tabernacle House of Prayer Fire
January 08
Skippack firefighters from Squad 86 supplied water to the scene of a large fire at the Faith Tabernacle House of Prayer in Norristown. They worked from about 4 to 8 am until they were released from scene. The crew would like to thank North Penn Goodwill for supplying warm food and drinks and bringing their comfort station.

EMS Assist and Fire Alarm
December 31
Skippack firefighters assisted Skippack Emergency Medical Services with transporting a young person who fell from a horse. Firefighters carried her from the trail to the ambulance near the intersection of Mayhall and Thompson Roads on Tuesday afternoon. Later that afternoon they also responded to a fire alarm.

Traffic Accident Friday Evening, Lower Salford Fire Friday morning
December 28
Skippack firefighters responded to a traffic accident on Bridge Rd. in front of the Wawa entrance near Skippack Pike around 5:20 pm. The crews directed traffic and assisted with the fluid spill and debris clean up.
Earlier on Friday, Skippack firefighters responded to a structure fire in Lower Salford, where they assisted in interior operations, roof ventilation and clean up.
