Skippack Fire Company was dispatched along with Skippack Emergency Medical Services to a single vehicle crash early this morning on Bridge Road near Skippack Beverage. The call at 01:06 sent several people in the car to local hospitals for evaluation. Skippack Fire Company and Pennsylvania State Police searched for other occupants of the car that fled the scene.
Skippack crews on the response included, Deputy, Assistant, Lieutenant, Squad (with the Battalion) and Special Service (with the Captain) 86.
Bridge Road was closed for over an hour between Mensch and Creamery Road as crews operated.
The scene was turned over to PSP as Skippack Fire Company Crews returned to service at 02:10.
PECO was dispatched to the scene and will be working today on securing and repairing the a damaged pole, before the car is removed from its resting spot. (Be aware traffic delays may occur throughout the day in the area as this work occurs.)
Trappe Ambulance Company assisted on scene also and transported a victim from the scene.
