Skippack firefighters responded to an early morning call for a one car accident on Rte 113 in the area of Mary Ellen Lane. Crews directed traffic, cleaned up debris and ensured scene safety until being released. That evening it was time to scrub the trucks for the parade at 11 am in Skippack on the 4th if July. Get ready to see our oldest and newest trucks in the parade. As we were wrapping up our clean up we were dispatched to a low-angle rescue to move a patient in Evansburg State Park partway up a hill. Working with Worcester Volunteer Fire Department, firefighters safely transported the patient to the ambulance.
