Looking Back in History- First Fire Alarm

July 17, 2024

When the first engine house was constructed at Skippack Pike and Mensch Rd in January 1900, an alarm was needed to summon members to a call. This rim still stands in front of the current fire house on Rte 113.

Check out our new anniversary banner hanging at the fire station. Please feel free to watch our live burn on Thursday July 25 at the burn building behind the firehouse, near the Skippack trail at 7 pm. An officer can answer any questions you may have or tell you more about volunteering at Skippack Fire Company.
