Skippack firefighters were dispatched to a large brush fire in Lower Providence Township around 6:00 pm on Thursday evening, first with their tanker to supply water to the scene and then with ATV 86 to assist with fire attack. Many companies from the area responded to an approximately 15 acre fire. Crews returned to Skippack around 8:30 pm.
