Skippack Fire Company was dispatched for a multi-unit apartment building fire this morning at 11:03. The initial call for service in the 4000 block of Skippack Pike reported smoke from the six unit apartment building. The caller reported smoke coming from doors and windows of the apartments.
Crews arrived on scene and found an unattended pan on the stove. The fire was contained to the pan with no extension. Crews ventilated the structure and returned to station at 11:50. Skippack Emergency Medical Services transported one occupant of the structure for evaluation, to a local hospital.
Skippack Fire Company crews on scene included, Chief, Deputy, Assistant, Ladder, Squad, Tanker (with the Battalion) and Utility 86. Worcester Volunteer Fire Department assisted Skippack Fire Company on scene. |
