A two car crash sent one driver to the hospital Sunday afternoon, as the vehicles crashed near Evansburg and Lywiski Roads in Skippack. The call for the head-on collision came at 15:53 and brought Chief, Deputy and Squad (with the Battalion and Lieutenant) 86 to the scene. Chief 86 requested a direct fly with the landing zone to be set up at RT73 and Stump Hall Road. Ladder and Special Service (with the Captain) 86 handled the LZ.
Skippack Emergency Medical Services, requested a second ambulance, bringing Lower Providence Community Center Ambulance to the scene. Worcester Volunteer Fire Department Fire Police and the Pennsylvania State Police assisted on scene also. All Skippack Fire Company units returned to the station at 17:02.
PSP is investigating the cause of the crash. |
