March ended with three calls on the 31st. The first two were accidents in the area of Skippack Pike and Evansburg/Old Forty Foot Rd. The first accident is pictured here where three cars collided in front of the post office at 4:00 pm. The second accident involved two cars in the intersection around 8:30. For both accidents crews assisted with traffic control and clean up of the road, and cleared the scenes for both in under 30 minutes. The last call was a fire alarm triggered by burnt food, that was received on the way back to the station from the second accident. We appreciate the support from Perkiomen Township Fire Company's duty crew at the two evening calls.
We hope that everyone stays safe today as severe storms and strong winds are expected in our area.
