Skippack firefighters trained in water rescue operations with Bridgeport Fire Department in the Perkiomen Creek at Creek Road on Sunday morning. They practiced moving the boat across the creek in swift and slow water as a team. As they were cleaning up at the warm fire station, they were dispatched to an EMS assist. Later that afternoon Skippack firefighters responded to a reported building fire in Perkiomen Township.
