On Friday evening Skippack firefighters responded to a chimney fire on Dogwood Lane around 6:30 pm. Crews investigated the fire, verified the fire was confined to the chimney and ensured it was extinguished. Skippack fire company would like to thank their mutual aid companies of Worcester Volunteer Fire Department, Perkiomen Township Fire Company, Collegeville Fire Company, Lower Providence Fire Company, Trappe Fire Company and Skippack Emergency Medical Services.

Around 8:15 pm crews were dispatched to a vehicle accident with a vehicle on its side on Rt. 113 near Gypsy Lane. They assisted with traffic control, clean up and spilled fluids. Perkiomen Township Fire Company also assisted with the incident. Crews returned to the station around 9:15 pm.
